In the Physical Education 12 course, students must practice effective interpersonal skills through group and sport experiences. They are to apply the concepts of a balanced, healthy lifestyle through participation in physical education.
Students will be exposed to a wide variety of team sports, individual sports, games, activities, and skills. The student must demonstrate motor skills in all movement categories, participate regularly in a variety of activities, show positive personal and social behavior in team sport, and assess their personal health and level of skill in certain sports.
This course will concentrate in 4 main units: Gymnastics, Fitness Testing, Lacrosse, and Track and Field.
Each unit will consist of a theory component, a skill testing component, and a participation component.
